Abby Collins is an abstract artist trained in digital and textile design at Elon University. The foundation of her artistic practice is derived from her formal training of graphic design, typography, dying of fibers and color theory.

Abby’s work is deeply rooted in an exploration of negative space and emotion. Incorporating intentional emptiness in her compositions to encourage viewers to venture beyond the obvious. The absence invites contemplation, providing an open space for imagination to roam freely, eliciting emotions buried within the recesses of the mind. Using gold in her work as an interplay to prompt ones own experiences and connection—bridging the gap between the known and the unknown.

Abby lives in North Carolina with her husband, daughter, and two beloved dogs.
